ARCHIVE
This archive will continue to suggest and offer a set of books, albums, songs, and poems that are related to the encyclopedia on which the artifact is based. The media below are meant to offer conversation for our podcast guests to dialogue around while sharing knowledge from their background with sound and energy healing. The goal is to focus on how sound allows for a connection between the physical and subtle energies, so we can learn how to recognize a harmonic body, or simply a body in harmony. The entire collection grounds into concepts of an energetic anatomy, which accounts for all matter as energy and all medicine as energy medicine. This collection is meant to ground into the notion of music and the vibration of waves and particles as sources of healing.
The Subtle Body: An Encyclopedia of Your Energetic Anatomy
Cydni Dale (2009)
This encyclopedia begins with sharing the impact of pioneers who have studied energy medicine. The material grounds into human anatomy, human energy fields and particles, energy bodies, and other "light switches." The text opens up with sound and energy healers, and then goes on to discuss the relationship with energy bodies with the endocrine and nervous system. The material visits intergenerational disorders and discusses the "marriage of the East and West." After exploring Chinese medicine and the history of meridian science, Dale continues with connecting the chi with understandings of energy and the auric field. Subsequent to focusing on two unified field theories and the mystical aspects of geometry, this encyclopedia continues with chakra systems from around the world and the Ancient Kabbalah on different levels of consciousness. The encyclopedia concludes with how to apply this information to energy practices.

BOOK:
Marina Roseman's (1993) Healing Sounds From The Malaysian Rainforest: Temiar Music and Medicine
offers a scope into a variety ways in which humans live in the rainforest depending on climate conditions. The number of settlements encountered during her ethnography led Roseman to document the way hunters and horticulturalists engage with the rainforest of the peninsular Malaysia. Roseman was guided to study the central role of "healing arts" for the Senoi Temiar, after transcribing and recording Temiar rituals and participating in community life.
ALBUM:
Dream Songs and Healing Sounds
in the Rainforest of Malaysia (1995)
is an album of songs from rainforest environments, and this project was pieced together by Marina Roseman. Below are songs from the album, with tones and themes on the metaphysics of sound. The Malays developed a musical landscape with their interaction with rainforest environments. The the sounds of waterways, waterfalls, and birdsong play a part in the melody of songs. In this album, dreamsongs (songs influenced by dream) offer healing and inspiration from a vibrant natural environment.
